September 2005: Schmidt Research Partners (“SRP”) set up as a division of SFP-International Limited, a firm of financial markets consultants, to provide market research to that company
May 2006: the new company Schmidt Research Partners Limited set up as a separate firm (Company No. 05822221) to provide rating, research and investment advisory
August 4, 2006: Schmidt Research Partners Limited (“SRP”) obtains authorisation and regulation from the Financial Services Authority (452684)
Schmidt Advisory launched
September 24, 2007: Schmidt Rating launched to rate hedge funds
October 2009: Audit of IOSCO Hedge Fund of Funds Standards launched
2010: launch of Schmidt Strategy Allocation and Risk Index scheduled for later this year
